My vision of art

In my paintings and lyrics I want not just to express my feelings and inner struggles but I want to transform them into something positive and beautiful at the same time. Through fast painting I want to capture what is going out of me and don’t want to leave any space for reflection (in the negative sense similar to Kierkegaard’s term) but I choose the basic colours, which are almost always red, black, yellow and white. But their mix and outcome is random…
The rap poetry I write usually late at night when I can get really inspired and it’s more a flow of inspiration in the verses…more abstract than concrete, but also philosophical and reflective and intimate…
What I want to express is immediate closeness and dynamic beauty and at the same time harmony between internal meaning, which I focus on and external which is for me secondary…
I am convinced that in order to express something internal and precious at the same time, you as an artist must ask yourself deep questions. You must fight with yourself and challenge your limitations. You cannot avoid moral dilemmas in yourself or lead a shallow life…
I think that the reason why so much artwork looks more like design with nice shapes is because artists are too weak to face their moral dilemmas, they lead their lives centred on pleasures and external or in other words material things…and they are betraying their ideals and ideas and are doing only nice-shaped, good looking commercial artefacts for people who can afford it and use it as decoration of their mansions…
But not every one! When I was in Prague last summer I visited a few galleries and I could see the difference between introvert and very interesting collages made with newspaper, stones, wire, acrylic colour and plastic bags of one German artist where I could feel the internal value and message and other gallery where you had these statues and paintings just to sell well…
I want to use my painting as milestones of my big choices and fight and as an inspiration for everyone not to give up in fight with the easy-to-accept but empty and decayed consume culture!
Keep it up!
